My very first oil painting! yay! It's not quite finished but I feel like I'm just working without getting anywhere. Thus, suggestions, as always, will rock my socks.

I always found oils a terribly messy medium to work with. But this looks good, especially all the colour.

I know nothing about painting so I cannot critique, that said though, I think this is great, I love your use of colors and light, it sets a wonderful mood.

i don't know how i feel about the colors but just about everything else is fabulous. might want to define the horizon a little more on the left as well.

Wow! For a first time using oil paints, you've really got the hang of using the colours effectively. I love the way you've layered them, this is beautiful.
